The mission of the Personnel Selection and Development Program is to:
Apply psychological principles and practice to the research, development, and validation of operational assessment systems.
Conduct occupational analyses in support of personnel programs such as selection, training, career development, and succession planning.
Consult on implementation issues such as the interpretation and use of assessment results and the legal defensibility of personnel practices.
