Dr. Deborah Whetzel, has over 20 years of experience in personnel selection research and development in both the public and private sectors. Her areas of expertise include job analysis, developing leadership competency models, developing performance appraisal systems, and developing and validating assessment processes, including structured interviews and situational judgment tests. She has co-edited two books, Applied Measurement: Industrial Psychology in Human Resources Management and Applied Measurement Methods in Industrial Psychology.
Dr. Whetzel has served as an adjunct professor in the graduate program at George Mason University and in the undergraduate program at Virginia Commonwealth University. She earned her Ph.D. at George Washington University specializing in Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
