Dr. Bynum’s work includes project and analytic oversight for a wide variety of projects related to educational testing, workplace selection, and performance assessment. Dr. Bynum has over 10 years of experience conducting calibrating, scaling, and equating for high-stakes large-scale assessment programs. In this role, she is responsible for independently producing item response theory results, working with the client to make real time scaling and equating decisions, and producing scoring tables. Additionally, Dr. Bynum has served as project lead on a number of projects funded by U.S. Army Research Institute to develop and validate assessment measures for predicting performance and attrition. Dr. Bynum is well regarded for her technical knowledge, adaptability, and attention to detail, and applying the highest standard of quality assurance to her work. She has published in Military Psychology, the Journal of Business and Psychology, Academy of Management and Human Factors and received SIOP’s Distinguished Early Career Contributions – Practice Award in 2019. She currently serves on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Business and Psychology.
