Congratulations to Dr. Tim McGonigle, who became a HumRRO Vice President and the Director of one of our two Operations Divisions on July 1! In this new role, Tim serves as a member of HumRRO’s corporate leadership team, together with Dr. Cheryl Paullin (VP of Operations), Dr. David Dorsey (VP of Business Development), Kirk Abriola (CFO), and Dr. Suzanne Tsacoumis (President & CEO). Dr. Deirdre Knapp, formerly a VP of Operations, has decided to transition into a new role as a HumRRO Principal Scientist.
Tim joined HumRRO in 2018 as Manager of the Strategic Human Capital Program. After graduating from the Industrial-Organizational Psychology program at Virginia Tech, Tim began his career as a Research Scientist at the American Institutes for Research. Next, he helped develop and lead a team of I-O psychologists performing job analysis, assessment development and validation, and program evaluation projects at Caliber Associates/ICF International. Most recently, he established and managed an interdisciplinary team of social and behavioral scientists, analysts, and functional experts at SRA International. His technical proficiency spans a broad range of topics, including job analysis/competency modeling, workforce planning, assessment development and validation, program evaluation, career development/exploration, and evidence-based policy. Tim’s work has been published in Applied HRM Research, Military Psychology, Human Resource Management Review, and the forthcoming edited volumes Career Pathways: School to Retirement and the Casebook of Needs Assessments.
