Kimberly Adams, Ph.D., manages and provides technical oversight to a wide variety of projects related to measurement development, validation research, and program evaluation. She has nearly 25 years of experience collaborating with clients on high-stakes, large-scale assessment programs for selection, classification, admissions, certification, and licensure including the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB), Aviation Selection Test Battery (ASTB), Society of Human Resource Management’s (SHRM) certification of human resources professionals, Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT), Medical College Admission Test (MCAT), and Association of American Medical College’s (AAMC) new assessment of pre-professional competencies.
Dr. Adams is well-respected for her expertise in job and practice analyses, competency modeling, content and exam blueprint design, content generation, form building, standard setting, post-administration item evaluation, validity research, and market and benchmarking analyses. She is a frequent presenter on assessment-related topics at professional conferences hosted by the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP), Association of Test Publisher’s (ATP) Innovation in Testing, and Institute of Credentialing Excellence (I.C.E.) Exchange. She holds a Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from the University of Houston and is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) by the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
