Research Associate
Katelyn McCoy is a research associate in HumRRO’s Public Safety Group program area. She holds a master’s degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology and is experienced with assessment development and validation. Her project work comprises the full test development life cycle for a variety of knowledge-based selection and certification examinations. McCoy’s work involves the development of survey, testing, and training materials, administering data collection measures, and performing statistical analyses to facilitate the interpretation of data. She has experience with facilitating groups of subject matter experts to inform the development of assessments, developing test content, conducting task analyses, and administering exams and assessment centers for a variety of public and private sector clients. McCoy currently serves as the Board Secretary for the Personnel Testing Council of Metropolitan Washington (PTCMW).
