Rich-media simulations have gained some traction in the assessment space, but they still remain a bit of an enigma to many practitioners. During an upcoming presentation entitled “High-Stakes, Rich-Media Simulations: Practical Applications,” Dr. Suzanne Tsacoumis will provide a tour of the most complex, and potentially controversial, applications of rich-media as she describes operational selection programs that use highly immersive simulations that allow the test taker to “interact” with the assessment.
Suzanne, HumRRO’s president and CEO, is one of a select group of experts invited to give a high impact practitioner talk at the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology’s (SIOP) Leading Edge Consortium (LEC) being held on October 25 and 26 at the Loews Hotel in Atlanta.
Each fall, leaders in the talent management arena convene at the LEC to share cutting edge innovations, discuss emerging trends, and describe key challenges facing their organizations and industries. This year’s consortium theme, Advancing the Edge: Assessment for the 2020s, reflects the transformational impact that technology will continue to have on the assessment landscape in the coming decade.
